This indulgent, chocolately smoothie is perfect for a quick, filling breakfast, an afternoon pick me up, a dessert, its basically an all rounder! 

Ingredients:

1 banana

1 heaped tbsp cacao

1 handful pecans (or any nut of your choice)

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp flax seeds

2 dates

1 scoop protein (optional)

1 cup of milk (I use almond) 

1 tsp cacao nibs for the topping

 I never thought a smoothie for breakfast would tide me over until lunch but this one has proved me wrong! I also love the fact that my body is getting a good nutrient hit, full of healthy fats, antioxidants, protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals!
